This isn't quite as refined as the Edifier MP230, but it is surprisingly loud. It's IPX7, so it can handle getting wet, and its rubberized design makes it quite durable.
I found that the sound quality was good, considering the price and size of the speaker. It is definitely louder and bassier than the Edifier. There is also a companion app allowing you to control the EQ and get a sound profile that suits your tastes.
I am indifferent to flashing lights, but it is possible to have the RGB ring on the speaker light up in unison with the music you are playing.
It is possible to pair this up with another Tronsmart T7 to get stereo audio. This has an RRP of £60, but at the time of writing, it is available for £50.
