I have reviewed several tablets this year that are either e-ink tablets or designed to replicate the e-ink/e-paper display. The iFLYTEK AINOTE Air 2 and AINote 2 were proper e-ink tablets which were also powered with on-device AI for voice transcription. They are both excellent tablets for what they do best, taking notes and transcribing…
Aqara has released the Spatial Multi-Sensor FP400, a camera-free presence sensor that uses 60GHz mmWave radar to track where people are in a room rather than simply whether a room is occupied. It is available now in the UK for £79.99 and sits alongside the existing Presence Sensor FP2 in Aqara’s line-up. The main change…
The ZimaBoard 2 is an interesting single-board server powered by an Intel N150 and running ZimaOS, a simplified NAS OS with a wide range of features comparable to Unraid. The ZimaBoard 2 itself only has limited storage, so it’s not much use as a NAS on its own, but it has plenty of ports for…
Acer has confirmed that its flagship Predator Atlas 8 Extreme handheld gaming PC is now available to buy in the UK. The 8-inch Windows 11 device is on sale at Currys, both online and in selected Currys stores, as well as through the Acer Store, priced at £1,299.99. At the same time, Acer UK has…
MediaTek has announced the Dimensity CX C10 Max, a new flagship system on chip for laptops, detachables and tablets. It is the first flagship processor in the Dimensity CX family, the computing branch of the Dimensity brand, and it combines an eight-core CPU with no efficiency cores, a 55 TOPS neural processing unit (NPU), an…
I reviewed the excellent PIIFOX LUNA Muse65 Pro Mechanical Keyboard a couple of weeks ago. Since I prefer larger keyboards with a number pad, PIIFOX also sent me the LUNA Grid98. These are very similar keyboards, which use the same multi-layer sound dampening design, switch options, tri-mode connectivity, keycaps and old school IBM styling. The…
192.168.0.1 is the default address used by many routers to open their admin page, where you can change the Wi-Fi name and password, set up port forwarding or check the connection status. When it will not load, the cause is usually simple. The address might be typed incorrectly, your router might use a different address,…
MediaTek has announced the Dimensity 9600 Pro, its latest flagship smartphone chipset. It is built on a 2nm process and succeeds the Dimensity 9500, with MediaTek describing it as an all-new native AI architecture that pairs pro-level performance with high efficiency. According to MediaTek, the Pro name reflects a new design rather than a minor…
I reviewed the incredibly powerful and versatile OBSBOT Talent two years ago. It is an impressive piece of kit that functions as a multi-input switcher designed for live streaming, combining an encoder, switcher, recorder, monitor, and controller into a single device. While the original Talent is still a powerful tool for streamers in 2026, the…
The Apolosign 32-inch Smart Portable TV is a convenient all-in-one solution, combining a 32-inch touchscreen display with Android functionality and an integrated stand with a built-in battery. It has a wide range of uses but is clearly designed for more corporate and educational applications. I have had the 4K model in my house for a…
