Continuing the Acer product launches at CES, they have announced an expansion of its Predator gaming monitor lineup with four new premium models featuring large curved displays, advanced display technologies, and smooth performance aimed at hardcore gamers.

Flagship 57-inch Predator Z57 4K Mini LED

The flagship of the range is the massive 57-inch Predator Z57, which uses Mini LED backlight technology with 2304 dimming zones to achieve impressive brightness and contrast. It has a cutting-edge dual UHD (7680 x 2160) resolution at a 120Hz refresh rate, allowing it to render fast motion smoothly without ghosting or blurring.

According to Acer, the 32:9 super ultrawide aspect ratio and 1000R curvature draws the user closer into the content and increases immersion. The Predator Z57 meets the VESA DisplayHDR 1000 standard with up to 1000 nits peak brightness and DCI-P3 98% wide colour gamut coverage for realistic and vibrant visuals.

Connectivity options include HDMI 2.1 ports to support the latest games consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X at up to 4K 120fps. The stand offers height, tilt and swivel adjustment while the monitor is also VESA mount compatible for wall mounting.

Both monitors have a UWQHD 3440 x 1440 resolution and are capable of 240Hz refresh rates with extremely fast 0.01ms GtG response times, making them well-suited to competitive esports gaming where lag and ghosting need to be minimized.

The OLED panels offer wide 178-degree viewing angles with deep blacks and vibrant colour reproduction covering 99% of the DCI-P3 gamut. HDR content is supported through VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. The curved 800R design aims to increase immersion along with AMD FreeSync Premium anti-tearing technology.
