Zhiyun specialises in camera gimbals and stabilisers for videos with products covering both consumers and professionals.

Zhiyun Smooth 5

The Smooth 5 is the new top of the range consumer gimbal with 3-axis design that allows movements in all angles to be amazingly smooth, even in extreme angles. It then has magnetic contact points on both sides and can be attached with a maximum of two 300-lumen fill lights for 360° all-around lighting.

The Smooth X2 is a compact gimbal with a 260mm extendable selfie stick, a rotatable tripod and a double-side fill light! This makes it ideal for holidays and posting a video to social when travelling. This can also be locked and turned into a solid tripod.

Black Friday Deals

The Black Friday deals will run from November 20 to November 30, 2021 and they will be available from Zhiyun directly or via their Amazon store. Most prices are already live on Amazon and similar discounts are available for US buyers.

Many of the products have significant discounts, the exceptions being some of the newer devices.

For consumers, the Smooth Q2 looks like a great deal, discounted from £139.00 to £89 or the more portable Smooth XS, which is discounted from £74.99 to £45.99

The Zhiyun Smooth Q3 was launched earlier this year and while it is included in the Black Friday sale, with the standard gimbal at £69.99 from £89 and the combo down to £88.99 from £109, that deal is only on til the end of the month, so it is a good opportunity to try and get a piece of new tech for free!

This lightweight and highly portable gimbal can take a maximum payload of 280g, which covers some of the heavier smartphones on the market, including the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The SMOOTH-Q3 features a built-in LED light, 17 creative shooting modes
