The best mattresses on Amazon to keep an eye on for Prime Day

While a lot of my content has been PC and mobile related recently, I am a keen fitness enthusiast and am always keen on anything that can optimise and monitor physical and mental health. As much as I love sports watches, sleep trackers and blood tests, getting a good night sleep is critical in your overall mental and physical health.

Exercise, good diet and sleep hygiene will all help with your sleep, but the one significant change that many neglect is their mattress. In the past year, I have reviewed quite a few superb mattresses, most of which have been the bed in a box style that has become very popular.

My personal favourite and the one I currently use is the Nectar Mattress, it is not the cheapest, but they have the longest trail and warranty period of any mattress on the market, so I would hope they are a safe bet when investing in a new bed. There are a lot of excellent choices though, Simba being the other stand out option and market leader, however, most brands offer a 100-day trial with 10-year warranties.

Most of my review and comparisons have linked directly to the manufacturer. However, there are a lot of companies now listed on Amazon, and for many Amazon are the preferred medium for most online shopping.

With Amazon Prime day coming on the 15^th and 16^th of July it could be a perfect time to try and grab yourself a bargain.

So, what are the best mattresses on Amazon right now?

As with many of my Amazon posts, I list the number of reviews, and I will do the same here. There is a caveat though, with mattresses, and most products, you get what you pay for. A lot of reviews are price biased; people will give a good review just because it is cheap. I would be cautious about buying a very cheap mattress. If it is all you can afford then fair enough, but you spend a long time in your bed and I would advise spending as much as you can afford (without putting yourself in financial burden).

Furthermore, while memory foam isn’t perfect for everyone, I would recommend this option to try out. Bed in a box mattresses will offer a trial period, whereas pocket spring styles often don’t.

The main issue with memory foam is that it is hot, and if this is a concern you will also need to be cautious with any other mattress. Anything man made will be hot, so you ideally want things like natural latex or wool topper, both of which can be pricey.

For simplicity, I will list all prices for King sized beds.
