Both Realme and Xiaomi already offer incredible value for money on their phones.

Realme 6 Pro – 279 GBP – NOW 249 GBP

I loved the Realme 6 Pro when I reviewed it, but at the time I thought the Realme 6 offered better value for money. With £30 off, I would definitely choose the Pro model over the normal one thanks to the improved camera and build

Realme 6 – 199 GBP – NOW 179 GBP

The Realme 6 gets a more moderate price reduction but at £179 for the 4GB/64GB model this actually brings it down to the Realme 7 prices, the difference between the two phones is that this has a better camera but the Realme 7 has a fractionally better chipset.

Realme 6i – 169 GBP – NOW 149 GBP

I’d spend the extra money on the Realme 6 is I am honest, but if you want a phone with a battery that will last for days, the Realme 6i is a great choice.

Realme X50 Pro – 699 GBP – NOW 539 GBP

Love the Realme X50 Pro and this was my main phone until I recently smashed the screen. New phones from Xiaomi offer competitive specs at a lower price than the RRP of this, but at £539 this is an absolute bargain.

Realme X3 SuperZoom – 469 GBP – NOW 379 GBP

I thought the Realme X3 SuperZoom was a touch expensive at launch, but at £379 it is superb value for money offering a camera spec that is unrivalled at this price point.

Cheap earphones got cheaper!

Realme Band 1 – 24.99 GBP – NOW 16.99 GBP

Again, cheap got cheaper, at £17 this would make a good stocking filler for anyone wanting to get into basic fitness.

Xiaomi Phones

Xiaomi Mi 10 8GB/128GB was £699 now £559

Depending on what you want from your phone, the 108MP primary camera and AMOLED display of the Xiaomi Mi 10 could make this a better buy than the Realme X50 Pro. Previous best price was £579 so it is a £20 saving really.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite – was £333.95 Now £259

A tenner saving from previous prices but this is one of the most affordable 5G phones on the market and offerings incredible performance for the money.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro – was £249.00 now £179

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G and combined with 6GB of ram and 64GB of storage this is probably a better buy than the Realme 6. The one downside is the slower 60hz refresh rate display
