TCL 30 Series Announced – Five affordable phones from £120 to £210

With most phone brands slugging it out competing in the mid-range range market, TCL is embracing the affordable end of Android smartphones.

At MWC 2022, they have announced five new phones, with the most expensive being the TCL 30 5G priced at €249, which works out as £210. This features the MediaTek Dimensity 700 a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Interestingly, all the phones in the new line-up appear to feature the same rear primary camera, which is 50MP with a 1/2.76 sensor size. This should mean the lower-priced models have a much better than average picture quality than other similarly priced phones.

Pricing and availability

There is no official UK pricing yet and prices will vary by country. The TCL 30 E should work out at around £120

The TCL 30 5G, TCL 30+, TCL 30, and TCL 30 SE all feature a 50MP AI triple camera, while the TCL 30 E has a dual camera with 50MP main lens. And for those that love group selfies, an ultra-wide front camera is available on TCL 30 5G and TCL 30+, so everyone can comfortably get in shot, bottling precious moments with loved ones.
