The Kovol Sprint is a strikingly similar design to the RAVPower PD Pioneer I have previously reviewed. However, this GaN based charger significantly increases the power output to 120W maximum output across all the ports.

In Use
Kovol advertises this as a 120W charger, but a single USB-C port can do 100W. When using both USB-C ports the maximum output is split at 60W per port, for a total of 120W max output.
There are only two other chargers I have reviewed with higher outputs. The Chargeasap Omega 200W, which can do 100W per port on both ports at the same time and the Huwder A2002 which is 150W max total, but 100W max per port. The Chargeasap costs $150, and the Huwder is physically quite large.
A 100W power delivery output is more than enough wattage for most users at the moment. Most lightweight laptops use 65W power delivery, so this will charge them at full speed while also being able to charge other devices at full speed too.
I tested this with my Huawei Matebook 13 and the Matebook 14, and both laptops happily charged at fast speeds. I don’t have two USB-C power meter testers, but the Matebook 13 regularly pulled over 50W
Price and Alternative Options
The Kovol charger is only available from Amazon US, currently priced at $100 with a $20 voucher available too. There is no Amazon UK listing but UK buyers can import it for an additional $9.
RAVPower is one of the brands that got kicked off Amazon, with brands like Kovol quickly swooping in with their own like-for-like products.
The RAVPower charger I previously reviewed is available from the brand website for £50
Kovol also has a 65W charger with an identical spec to the Ravpower, this is $50 with a $10 voucher available.
The Huwder A2002 I previously reviewed is one of the few devices with a higher wattage, with 150W total and 100W max on a single PD port. This isn’t available on Amazon but costs £70.99 from Huwder and is physically much larger than the Kovol.
Overall
The Kovol Sprint is an excellent charger ideal for anyone that wants to be able to charge a laptop while also charging other high powered devices. It is one of the highest wattage chargers currently available on Amazon.
I like the form factor too. The extension lead makes this handy for permanent placement on my office table, giving me easy access to USB ports for high powered devices.
While the extension lead makes this less appealing for travel, the charger itself is quite compact, being considerably smaller than the 150W Huwder I have previously reviewed. Therefore I probably would use this when travelling, especially when I am working away and need to charge a lot of high powered devices.
