GoGoBest is one of the many new Chinese brands manufacturing affordable electric bikes. They were founded in 2019 in Hong Kong, with the factory based in mainland China and the main warehouse located in Poland.

I have reviewed a lot of electric bikes over the past couple of years, and GoGoBest has one of the widest ranges available. They have five categories:

  • Fat tyre bikes
  • Mountain Bikes
  • Foldable Bikes
  • City Bikes
  • Road Bikes (most are actually hybrid, one is road)
  • Electric scooters

Wide Range of Power Options

Within each category is multiple options, and they cover a wide range of power ratings.

  • Fat tyre and mountain bikes go from 500W to 2000W
  • Folding bikes go from 250W to 1500W
  • City Bikes are either 250W or 350W
  • Road bikes are 250W, 350W, and 500W

As always, with electric bikes, you should be aware of the local laws if you plan on riding the bike on public roads. In the UK, the limit is 250W and 25km/h. I have ridden more powerful bikes at faster speeds without an issue, but if you ride a 2000W bike at 50km/h down the road, you may catch the eye of the police.

Sale Highlights

The reason for this post is that GoGoBest has a sale for Easter, with some big discounts available. I have gone through the site, and it appears that all the bikes have some sort of discount available.

The following bikes are some examples of what caught my eye. They don’t necessarily have the biggest discount available, but it shows what an eclectic range of bikes is available via GoGoBest.

The GoGoBest R2 caught my eye because I am unaware of any other Chines e-bike brand manufacturing electric road bikes and hardly any attractive hybrid bikes.

Vanpowers is probably the closest brand, but the City Vanture costs £1400 (€1600), and you have to build the entire bike.

This is a touch heavy to make it onto my lightweight e-bikes that look like normal bikes list. The Estarli e28 hybrid is not far off this, but that costs £1550.

At 21kg, this isn’t too heavy for general city riding, and I think it looks much nicer than most electric Chinese electric bikes, and it is less obviously an e-bike, so I feel a bit happier about locking it up in public.

On the other end of the spectrum is this quite frankly ridiculous 2000W fat tyre bike. I’d say it is closer to an electric motorbike than a pedal bike.

This actually has two motors, with a 1000W motor for both the front and rear wheels, which is something I haven’t experienced before.

Due to the massive power and front and rear wheel drive, this is rated to do up to 45° of climbing, which is steeper than any bike I have seen.

It works on pure electric and can do 50km in this mode. The inclusion of gears on a bike this powerful and heavy seems a bit pointless, but it will give you some flexibility in the effort you apply when peddling.

I wouldn’t particularly recommend riding this on the road, but I bet it is incredibly fun to ride off-road.

Bezior XF200 Electric Mountain Folding Bike

  • Control System: 48v20a Vector Controller
  • Motor Rated Power: 1000W
  • Max Speed: 40km/h
  • Pure Electric Range: 50km
  • Battery Capacity: 15Ah
  • Battery Voltage: 48V
  • Brakes: Hydraulic Disc Brakes
  • Transmission: SHIMANO 7-Speed Gears
  • Wheel: 20*4.0 Inches
  • Product Weight: 27kg
  • Applicable Height: 165-190cm
  • RRP: €1,899.99
  • Discount Price: €1,299.99

The Bezior XF200 is a more sensible alternative, it is still incredibly powerful at 1000W and can hit 40km/h with a good pure electric range of 50km or up to 130km with the assisted range.

You have fat tyres plus front and rear wheel suspension, so it should be a comfortable ride on most terrain while also being able to handle some more challenging off-road climbs, including the ability to handle 35° inclines.

Bezior X500 Pro Electric Mountain Folding Bike

  • Control System: 48v20a Vector Controller
  • Motor Rated Power: 1000W
  • Max Speed: 40km/H
  • Pure Electric Range: 50km
  • Battery Capacity: 15Ah
  • Battery Voltage: 48V
  • Brakes: Hydraulic Disc Brakes
  • Transmission: SHIMANO 7-Speed Gears
  • Product Weight: 27kg
  • Applicable Height: 165-190cm
  • RRP: €1,399.99
  • Discount Price: €899.99

My last choice is the Bezior X500 Pro which I picked due to the massive €500 if you live in the EU (only €300 for UK buyers). At €900 it is a bargain.

You get a powerful 48V 500W motor with a max speed of 30km/H and an incline of 30°. The power-assisted range is an excellent 100km.

At 23kg, it is quite light for a foldable mountain bike that has front and rear suspension.

Accessories – Batteries and Luggage Racks

One thing I noticed is that all bikes have some recommended products, and this includes replacement/spare batteries.

Within the accessories section, they seem to have a wide range of spare parts, so you should be able to repair and maintain your bike over time. Quite a lot of other brands have very limited spare parts, which is a bit of a concern as you don’t want to break something a year or two into ownership and be unable to repair it easily.

Shipping / Warranty / Return

GoGoBest doesn’t add additional shipping fees to the quoted price, and they cover all the customs fees. However, pricing can be different depending on where it is shipped to.

EU buyers get the best deal, saving up to €200 compared to UK buyers. An inevitable consequence of Brexit.

Processing usually takes 1-2 business days, and orders will arrive within 3-5 business days from when the order is shipped. For the EU, they typically use UPS while the UK orders use DPD.

The frame and all the electric parts on the bikes are covered with a one-year warranty, while the basic mechanical parts are covered with a six-month warranty.

You may return any item purchased from gogobest.com in new and unused condition within 15 days for a full refund, less shipping charges. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the recipient unless Gogobest makes a shipping error.
