Cherry announced the new KW X ULP keyboard back in May. As the name suggests, this is an ultra-low profile keyboard, and it uses the new Cherry MX ultra-low profile tactile mechanical switches, which were announced last year. Features Cherry MX ULP Switches Cherry has two ultra-low-profile mechanical switches, the Click and the Tactile. They…
I previously reviewed the GEEKOM Mini IT8 and loved it. In that review, I considered switching from my desktop PC full-time due to the lower running costs. I never committed to that, but I was recently sent the GEEKOM Mini IT11, and I am finally ready to make that commitment. The GEEKOM Mini IT11 is…
The Netgear Nighthawk M6 Pro (MR6450) was announced back in January at CES 2023, and I have finally managed to get my hands on one to review. This is by far the best 5G mobile hotspot router on the market, there are multiple ways to use it, and it also has WiFi 6E and a…
This article was originally published on Make the Sound Better. While I have updated most of the articles that have been transferred over, this article is mostly unedited. USB microphones have become increasingly popular among musicians, podcasters, YouTubers, and other content creators in recent years. These microphones offer the convenience of being able to directly connect…
It has been a while since I reviewed any Zyxel Nebula devices, but for the past few years, they have been the main cloud-managed networking ecosystem I have used, though I have flip-flopped between this, EnGenius, Netgear Insight and Ubiquiti. The Zyxel SCR 50AXE is the latest product that works with Nebula, and it is…
I recently reviewed the EnGenius ESG510 dual WAN gateway, which has a USB port for 4G cellular backup. Eager to test this functionality, I bought the Huawei E3372-325 4G dongle from Amazon, which appears to be the best-reviewed option on the site and was quite affordable at £40. Things didn’t go quite to plan, but…
Many people nowadays are reliant on Internet connectivity for their daily lives. For me, my entire career relies on the Internet, I do most of my shopping on it, and entertainment like gaming and watching TV is now dependent on it. The UK is finally making some good progress with rolling out FTTP, and gigabit…
Last year I reviewed the amazing but extraordinarily expensive Netgear Orbi RBKE963. It is the first and only quad-band WiFi 6E mesh system on the market (there are some quad-band routers) and therefore offers the best performance compared to anything else out there. Netgear is now launching the Orbi 960 router part of the system…

I have previously covered the confusing mess of names for USB and the differences between USB4 vs USB 3.2 Gen 2. Technically, USB4 can be 20Gbps for USB4 Gen 2×2, which is also the same speed as USB 3.2 Gen 2×2, even though there are differences between the two. However, I wanted to find an…
