Announced last week, the Huawei Watch 3 is the first global device from Huawei to run their own OS, HarmonyOS. It is a critical moment for Huawei, the shift to Harmony OS represents a no turning back point for their devices. Google and the Play Store are gone for good. HarmonyOS on a wearable makes…

The Huawei Watch 2 was announced back in 2017 running Wear OS, but in the following years, they ditched Wear OS in favour of a less smart LiteOS. With LiteOS, you got what you were given, and you had to live with it. While that doesn’t sound appealing compared to Wear OS, with its apps,…
Wear OS has been a bit of a disappointment, it has not received the love it deserves from Google, and Qualcomm have put no effort into advancing the SoCs at the same rate as phones. While I don’t hate Wear OS watches, my experience with them has always been lacklustre. The abysmal battery life is,…

Garmin hasn’t had a big launch recently, hopefully we will get the Fenix 7 at some point later in the year. In the meantime, they have launched the Garmin Enduro. The is an appealing but somewhat niche watch. The main issue it has is the high price tag of £699.99 putting it £170 high than…
During CES 2021, Amazfit announced their latest smartwatches the Amazfit GTR 2e and GTS 2e, offering a similar aesthetic and feature set to the existing Amazfit GTR 2 & GT 2 but at a lower price point. I reviewed the Amazfit GTS 2 back in December and found it to be a superb option for…
